Layout is a contemporary rug design with an interchangeable pattern. It is mode out of 10 pieces of wool that is 120×18 cm in size. The pieces are attached together with metal chains of 18 cm which allows them to be laid out next to each other or moved up and down or away from each, every different position creating a different pattern and overall form. Layout changes the idea that a pattern is something stable, it is flexible and can be interpreted by its user.
